Heh, excuse the title. I really don't have much in particular to talk about. Well, it's that time of year again. Just now is the time that I try to read some Christmas stories. I love Christmastime. It's really the whole season that I look forward to. Tomorrow starts the one week countdown. Well, acutually it's past midnight so I guess today starts the one week countdown.
I am beyond ready to go to sleep and everything but I have to start writing in here more. I'm making it a habit. I encourage all of you to start a good habit and break a bad habit. I'm working on good habits right now. I recently started praying every night again. I also have been writing in my blog. It's the bad habits that are hardest to break. I should quit drinking soda. I know I should but it's going to be hard.
I hope soon to start reading my scriptures everynight. I haven't done that in a while. I might start that tonight. My only problem is starting again. It's amazing how many times I have read the first 10 chapters of Nephi 1. It's getting past that part that is hard. That is why I should really start and just push past it. Well, good night everybody. Merry Christmas.

Overdue update
Hey peeps,
It has been a long time since my last post. Lemme just update you guys on my life.
My brother Slade turned 11, which he truly believes is soooooo much bigger than 10. Heh. He, with his birthday money, bought a NERF gun which is weird...lol.
Now the only thing I wanted to post about was my political agenda which I know will annoy my mom very much. As you know the auto bill didn't pass through the Senate which I must say is bittersweet. I am disappointed that the bill didn't get passed but I am relieved that for the first time the country is thinking before it does something.
A recurring theme in the Bush presidency has been a never-ending chain of knee-jerk reactions. That hasn't gotten us anywhere but war. On the other hand doing nothing led us to the recession so we defineately have to analyze ourselves as a nation.
Sometimes I think that the morals that our country was founded upon was a knee-jerk reaction to communism. We became so scared of the government turning into Great Britain that we become infatuated a slightly hypocritical form of anarchy.
The whole point having a government is to make sure we as American citizens do not get screwed over. We elect leaders to make sure that what we want is getting done. But that's not happening. We need to start questioning. Everybody is so concerned with pushing their agenda that we forget why we have a government. I'm guilty of it too. The nation doesn't care anymore. Elections seem to distract America from the big problem. America's future. This is no longer a Democrat versus Republican or Liberal versus Conservative or Red against Blue. It is right versus wrong. And if socialism is what this country needs to preserve the American dream. Then let it be so.
Coming from an anarchist, these words of socialism probably sound pretty out of place but the fact is is that there is time for protest of government after millions of people aren't in danger of horrible horrible consequences of a stalled economy. Do your job senators. The people demand it.
Oh by the way, I will be opening a new Politics Blog called THE CORPSE PARTY. I will explain the title in the blog. Until then. Dylan
